The Velveteen Vixen | Burlesque Dance
This 60-minute class will have you strutting your stuff and bumping and grinding those hips all over the place! You will learn basic building blocks for old fashioned burlesque cabaret with a modern twist! All levels of dance welcome. Some classes will include how to use props! Don’t fret if you don’t have burlesque style props available. We get creative with whatever you have laying around the house!
Class Requirements: No previous dance experience is required.
What You’ll Need: No equipment is required to participate in class, Wear whatever makes you feel sexy! Heels are optional. Knees pads may be used for some dance movement transitions but are not required, some classes will include props (scarves, gloves, tie, hat and so forth), water to stay hydrated.
The Twerkologist | Twerk Dance
This 60-minute class is filled with booty shaking, body rolls, head flips and ASS-olations. Twerk moves are broken down step by step to help master the basics. Come learn to jiggle whatever junk you’ve got in your trunk!
Class Requirements: No previous dance experience is required.
What You’ll Need: No equipment is required to participate in class, come dressed ready to sweat your ass off! Rock those Booty shorts or wear leggings/athletic pants. Bottoms with patterns are best to see booty movements. Knees pads are required for class, athletic shoes recommended but not required, water to stay hydrated.
The Scarlett | Chair Dance
This 60-minute class explores fun ways to use the chair apparatus to burn those calories and tone the body! You will learn dance transitions, dance moves, Acro-Chair moves and choreography designed for on, off and around the chair. Each class will explore a different genre/style of dance.
Class Requirements: No previous dance experience is required.
What You’ll Need: A chair apparatus is required to participate in this class (Folding chair or banquet chair without cushioned seat or backing is most recommended. Modifications will be available, if needed, for different chair apparatus styles), recommended to dress in layers for class as some Acro-Chair moves may required skin contact, Heels and Knee pads are optional, water to stay hydrated.
The Hipster | Hip Hop Dance
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a buThis high energy, 60-minute class infuses different styles of hip hop and street dance designed to help you loosen up, step outside of the box, gain rhythm, and have fun while getting a kick ass aerobic workout! Classes include a warm up, exercises to help you find your individual style so you can add your own personality to the movements while exploring different dance styles (gliding, popping, locking, breakdance, etc,).
Class Requirements: No previous dance experience is required.
What You’ll Need: No equipment is required to participate in class, fitness/athletic attire (recommended to dress in layers as some breakdance movements are better suited with arms/legs covered), knee pads recommended, athletic shoes, water to stay hydrated.
The Slinky Minx | Floorwork Flow
This 60-minute class focuses on movements on the floor, transitions from feet to floor and floor to feet, shoulder stands, kips, fish flops and more! This class infuses different styles of dance genres weekly. Come learn fluid floorwork techniques, floorwork combos and floor routines!
Class Requirements: Hard Surface Flooring is recommended but modifications for movements will be available for any student who has carpeted flooring. No previous dance experience is required.
What You’ll Need: No equipment is required to participate in class, Knees pads are heavily recommended. Heels are optional. Recommended to wear leggings/pants that don’t restrict movement, water to stay hydrated.
The Illusionist | Props Flow Class
This 60-minute class focuses on foundational movements for Hula Hoops (different sizes), LED Hoops, LED Poi Balls or LED light Wands). You will learn LED light flow techniques, how to create different shapes and how to incorporate movement into dance flow. Each Class will focus on one designated prop which will change from class to class for the following props: Hula Hoop (different sizes), LED Hoop, LED Poi Balls and LED Light Wands.
Class Requirements: No previous dance experience is required.
What You’ll Need: Depending on course material, you will need prop (one of the following props: Hula Hoop (different sizes), LED Hoop, LED Poi Balls or LED light Wand), fitness/athletic attire (recommended to dress in layers), water to stay hydrated.
