Online Pole Classes
The Novice | Beginner Level
This 60-minute class is designed for beginners or for any experienced poler who wants to work on improving techniques for pole spins and low flow movements. You will learn the fundamentals of pole movements, including introductions to grips, holds, climbs, low flow transitions and isolated drills customized to prepare for inverted pole moves. All levels of pole fitness are welcome to take this class.
Class Requirements: There are no inverted pole movements in this course. No previous dance or pole experience is required. All levels of experience are welcome to take this class.
What You’ll Need: Pole Apparatus (preferably set in static mode but not required. If pole apparatus is set to spinning mode, modifications will be available to accommodate, if needed), pole/athletic attire (Skin to pole contact may be required for some pole movements), water to stay hydrated.
The Spinster | Multi-Level
This 60-minute, multi-level class focuses on low pole spins, spin pole transitions, techniques to control movements and momentum on spinning pole. Modifications are made to accommodate all levels.
Class Requirements: No previous experience is required. All levels of experience are welcome to take this class.
What You’ll Need: Pole Apparatus set to spinning mode, pole/athletic attire (Skin to pole contact is required for some pole movements), water to stay hydrated.
The Vertical Vixen | Intermediate Level
This 60-minute class focuses on strengthening inverts (from standing position), smooth transitions for pole trick combinations, and exploring creative shapes! You will learn pole climbs, inverted pole moves, pole spins, low pole movements, transitions on and off the pole and drills to increase body awareness and overall strength and flexibility.
Class Requirements: Students for this class must have experience in inverting from the ground without an assisted spot and have experience with shoulder mounts from the ground without an assisted spot.
What You’ll Need: Pole Apparatus (preferably set in static mode but not required. If pole apparatus is set to spinning mode, modifications will be available to accommodate, if needed), pole/athletic attire (Skin to pole contact is required for some pole movements), water to stay hydrated.
Vixenesque Finesse | Multi-Level
This 45-minute, multi-level class focuses on smooth transitions from floor to pole, from pole to floor, movements between pole moves & spins and ascending/descending on the pole. You will learn foundations for mastering pole tricks and movements, drills, strength training exercises and safety techniques for practicing without an assisted spot. Curriculum focus for this class changes weekly.
Class Requirements: This is a multi-level mastery class designed to focus on individualized training for specific pole moves to master. All levels of dance and pole experience are welcome.
What You’ll Need: Pole Apparatus (preferably set in static mode but not required. If pole apparatus is set to spinning mode, modifications will be available to accommodate, if needed), pole/athletic attire (Skin to pole contact may be required for some pole movements), water to stay hydrated.
The Renegade | Advanced Level
This 60-minute class focuses on advanced level pole combinations, pole spins, transitions on and off the pole, transitions between pole moves, floor holds, floor moves, handstands and pole drills designed for strengthening overall body awareness and targeted muscle groups.
Class Requirements: Students for this class must be proficient in executing inverts and shoulder mounts (from a standing position) without an assisted spot, students must feel confident executing aerial inverts and aerial shoulder mounts without an assisted spot and have some experience training for handspring mounts into an Ayesha hold and/or descending into an Ayesha hold.
What You’ll Need: Pole Apparatus (preferably set in static mode but not required. If pole apparatus is set to spinning mode, modifications will be available to accommodate, if needed), pole/athletic attire (Skin to pole contact is required for pole movements), water to stay hydrated.
The Powerhouse | Advanced Intermediate/Advanced Level
This 45-minute class focuses on power pole spins, dynamic pole combos, power strength holds and pole handstand variations. Each class includes exercises/drills designed to increase strength, control, flexibility and body awareness for high intensity pole moves.
Class Requirements: Advanced Intermediate Level to Advanced Level. Must be able to execute aerial based pole moves/sequences without an assisted spot. Must have enough room in pole space to swing body fully away and around pole apparatus.
